First Look at Next Year's 'Bred' Air Jordan 1 The OG colorway is returning for its 40th anniversary.

  Jordan Brand  reportedly has big plans to celebrate the  Air Jordan 1's  40th anniversary in 2025. According to newly leaked information from  Sneaker Files  and  @zSneakerheadz  on Instagram, the iconic "Bred" Jordan 1 is returning to stores next year. Given that we're still at least a year out before the purported retro is expected to hit retail, images of the shoe have not yet hit the net and the pair pictured above is a mock-up rendering. According to the accounts above, the rerelease will be true to the original 1985 pair, featuring a higher cut on the black and red upper compared to the previous retros and signature details like "Nike Air" branding on the tongue.   Next year, Jordan Brand is remixing a classic colorway of the  Air Jordan 11  for its annual women's holiday release. Sneaker Files  and  zSneakerheadz  report that the "Bred Velvet" Air Jordan 11 will debut as part of the Holiday 2024 lineup. Based on the original "Bred" colorway worn by Jordan during the Chicago Bulls' historic 1995-96 season, including the championship-clinching game, the shoe will feature the same black, white, and red scheme, but with velvet in place of patent leather on the overlay. The "Bred Velvet" Air Jordan will retail for $230. Check back for a first look at the retro and confirmed release details.   The  Air Jordan 9  is uniquely positioned in the line's legacy. Most of its competitive history is tied to  Michael Jordan's  much-maligned baseball career. He didn't wear the model in an NBA game until his tenure with the Washington Wizards nearly a decade after its launch. Despite lacking special on-court moments that help drive the popularity of its predecessors and successors, the Jordan 9's fanfare has increased over the years, especially as it pertains to the original colorways. Wu-Tang Clan Is Letting Fans Claim Pairs of Its Nike Dunks Early Here's how you can enter the raffle.

  We're nearing the release of the highly anticipated  Wu-Tang Clan x Nike Dunks , and the New York rap group is giving its fans a chance to be notified when the grail sneaker collab is dropping. The "Wu-Tang" Nike Dunk High is originally from 1999 and only 36 pairs are believed to be made, with the number of pairs referencing the group's  36 Chambers  album. The sneaker is essentially the "Iowa" Dunk with the group's signature logo added to the heel counter and tongue tag.   2025 marks the 35th anniversary of the  Air Jordan 5,  and to celebrate the milestone,  Jordan Brand  is reportedly bringing back an original colorway of the popular silhouette. According to new reports from  Sneaker Files  and  @zSneakerheadz  on Instagram, the "Black Metallic" Air Jordan 5 is returning to retailers next year. Given its far-out launch date, leaked images of the purported retro have yet to surface online. According to the reports, the upcoming version is expected to be identical to the original 1990 pair, featuring a black nubuck upper, "Nike Air" branding on the heel, reflective silver tongue, and translucent outsole. The "Black Metallic" Air Jordan 5 was last retroed in  2016  and featured the aforementioned OG-inspired details. Before that, the colorway was available in 2011, 2007, and 2000.
