Detailed Look at the 'UNC' Air Jordan 5 A tribute to Michael Jordan's alma mater

Image
Not only are several  OG Air Jordans  reportedly returning to shelves in 2023, but fans can also expect a new  Air Jordan 5  colorway to drop next spring. The early information comes courtesy of  @zSneakerheadz , who revealed that the “UNC” Air Jordan 5 will touch down early next year. An early rendering shared by the account shows that the shoe will don a light blue upper that’s inspired by the team colors of Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina. The pair is also expected to feature a metallic silver tongue, a black midsole, and a translucent outsole. Like prior “UNC” colorways, the shoe isn’t expected to feature any official Tar Heels branding. Jordan Brand recently introduced new “UNC”-themed colorways of popular Air Jordan models, including the  Jordan 1,   Jordan 3,   Jordan 4,  and  Jordan 6. As of now, the “UNC” Air Jordan 5 is slated to  release  in Spring 2023 fo...

On-Feet Look at SoleFly's 'UNC' Air Jordan 13 Collab Unique material selection for the upcoming release

Image
SoleFly , the Miami-based boutique with familial ties to Michael Jordan, is readying its next sneaker collaboration with Jordan Brand. Leaked images indicate that the shop’s next shoe will be a UNC Tar Heels-inspired take on the  Air Jordan 13 . The story here isn’t just the colorway, but the material execution. Suede and what appear to be ripstop nylon share the upper, along with a plush, textured interior. We see SoleFly logo hits on the tongue, fabric loops near the forefoot, and elephant-printed insoles. The look is finished off with a mostly gum-brown sole. It’s been almost a year since SoleFly delivered its  Air Carnivore-themed Air Jordan 1 Low . A  release date  for the Jordan 13 hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll follow up with new details and images once they’re revealed. UPDATE (10/26):  Thanks to  @Knowing_Kicks  on Instagram, we now have a closer look at SoleFly’s forthcoming Air Jordan 13 collab including how it looks o...

There's Another 'Be True' Nike SB Dunk Coming Here's an official look.

Image
Nike  isn’t done celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community this year with its sneaker releases. In addition to the white-based  SB Dunk Low  makeup that dropped in June, there’s another  “Be True”  style coming to the popular model. This unreleased “Be True”  SB Dunk Low  shown here takes a much less subtle approach in terms of the color scheme as compared to the prior release, with eye-catching accents covering the overlay panels on the upper. There are also special graphics covering the shoe’s heel counter along with a new sunshine design on the heel tab. “Be True” branding appears on the tongue tag while the text “I see you always in all ways” is behind the tongue. Wrapping things up below is a sail-colored midsole and a grey outsole. Per  @NikeSBorNothing,  this “Be True” Nike SB Dunk Low is scheduled to release sometime in November, but it’s possible that the release could shift. Keep it locked to one dope ass blogger for ...
