Gatorade Inspires the Brightest Air Jordan 1s Ever Original flavor for the original Jordans.

Part of the newly introduced collaboration between Gatorade and Jordan Brand, the vibrant cyber yellow Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG represents the Lemon-Lime flavor of the popular sports drink.
Created in the 60s and brought to mass market in the 70s, Lemon-Lime was one of two original Gatorade flavors. The collaboration is officially marked by logo hits on the heel, insoles and outsoles. On the backside of the tongues is "Be Like Mike," the memorable tagline from Michael Jordan's famous Gatorade commercial.
The "Gatorade" Air Jordan 1 Retro collection releases on Tuesday, Dec. 26 for $175 at nike.com and Jordan retailers.

10 killed, 73 shot in bloodiest week of the year

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do. But the number of CPD detectives has been cut since then.  As Mayor Rahm Emanuel prepares to run for re-election, he'll swear in 100 new detectives later this month and promises 100 more by the end of the year. Rapper XXXTentacion (real name: Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), who was  shot to death  at the age of 20 Monday, wasn’t yet a household name. But he was well on his way.
