Nike Air More Uptempos for the ATL The latest city-inspired colorway.

Following leaks of an upcoming Chicago edition of the Nike Air More Uptempo, we now have a look at one honoring the ATL.
The Atlanta edition, first seen on The Shoe Game's Instagram account, is the second to be spotted in a city-based series that's said to also include New York. Similar to the Chicago pair, it eschews the traditional "AIR" on the upper for lettering of its own. The shoe has a predominantly white upper with green "ATL" font and gold trim. No sneaker release details are available at this time.
Supreme's 2017 collaboration was the first time in two decades that the Air More Uptempo strayed from Nike's standard "AIR" branding on the side.

10 killed, 73 shot in bloodiest week of the year

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do. But the number of CPD detectives has been cut since then.  As Mayor Rahm Emanuel prepares to run for re-election, he'll swear in 100 new detectives later this month and promises 100 more by the end of the year. Rapper XXXTentacion (real name: Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), who was  shot to death  at the age of 20 Monday, wasn’t yet a household name. But he was well on his way. Already popular on SoundCloud, XXXTentacion’s latest album,  ? , landed at  No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart  when it was released in March.
