Video Captures Bronx Boy, 15, Dragged From Store And Brutally Killed
His name was Lesandro Guzman-Feliz and he was only 15-years-old.Lovingly called Junior in his local neighborhood, he told his mom he was going to repay a $5 debt But she would never see him alive again.Instead he would be involved in a frenzied attack that took place outside Zesarina Grocery located on East 183rd Street. Junior was brutally killed in the Belmont section of The Bronx at around 11.40pm on Wednesday. The barbaric murder was captured on video showing the victim being dragged out of a convenience store. He and viciously slashed in the neck after a dispute with several young men.The vicious pack of men showed no mercy as they forcibly dragged Junior by the hood of his jacket out of the bodega. His attackers frantically stabbed and slashed the defenceless boy with a machete before fleeing on foot. The video shows the teen standing on the street corner with blood pouring from a neck wound. He desperately runs towards the nearby St Barnabas Hospital, but sadly collapses about a block away. Another graphic video posted on social media shows Junior sitting on the sidewalk with his back against the wall. A woman tries to apply pressure to his neck before police and paramedics come to his aid. But it would be in vain – Junior succumbed to his injuries at the scene. According to ABC 7 New York, with his last words the 15-year-old asked for some water.According to police, Junior knew his attackers and his murder may be gang-related. But the victim’s sister, Genesis Collado-Feliz, 17, disputes this. She admits he had recently become friends with a group of older boys, but was not in a gang. She describes her younger brother as someone who loved playing video games and would come to her for advice about girls. ‘He tried to run into the store because he thought he’d be safe. They dragged him from the store like a dog,’ Collado-Feliz told the New York Post. ‘They were grown men and he was only 15.’ Junior was a student at the Dr Richard Izquierdo Health and Science Charter School. News 12 The Bronx reports that the young boy aspired to become a police detective. Police are searching for at least six suspects in connection to the murder of Lesandro Guzman-Feliz.
