Jordan Brand Unveils the 2018 'Concord' Air Jordan 11 Official details.

Following initial rumblings a few months back, the fan favorite "Concord" Air Jordan 11 is going to be this year's annual holiday release.
The "Concord" 11 will make its return ahead of Christmas this December. Expect this classic black and white colorway of MJ's eleventh signature model to feature a remastered construction with a higher cut of patent leather like has been seen on other recent Retro 11 releases. Additionally, the heel will be adorned by the number '45' in place of '23' to match Jordan's 1995 PE   a detail that will certainly be welcomed by Jordan Brand fanatics.
Rumored to be released in over 1 million pairs the "Concord" Jordan 11 is expected to release on December 8 for $220.

10 killed, 73 shot in bloodiest week of the year

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do.
