The Nike Dunk Low Gets a Two-Tone Blue Makeover Here's an official look.

Image
At this point, it goes without saying that  Nike  has no plans to vault the  Dunks  in the foreseeable future as yet another colorway of the popular silhouette is expected to hit shelves soon. Retail photos of a new blue-based Dunk Low were shared by  @Brandon1an  on Twitter today, but just when the sneaker could potentially release is still up in the air. The style is somewhat reminiscent of the Japan-exclusive  “Argon”  colorway from the early ‘00s, which also featured a blue two-tone color scheme but this pair dons a lighter shade throughout the base of the leather upper and a darker hue covering the overlay panels. Breaking up the look is the white Swoosh branding on both sides along with matching shoelaces. Rounding out the design is a white midsole and solid blue outsole. As of now, the release details for this Dunk Low have yet to be announced by Nike but keep it locked to onedopeassblogger for updates. ...

StockX Is Releasing the 'Oregon Ducks' Air Jordan 8 Limited amount of pairs to be auctioned off.

Image
In sneakers, it’s a tradition unlike any other. Almost annually, various programs at the  University of Oregon  are presented with exclusive school-inspired Air Jordans. Crafted by legendary designer and Oregon alum  Tinker Hatfield , a wide range of Jordan models have been included in the collection, Air Jordan 3, 4, and 5 among the most coveted to date. Because the shoes are only given to athletes, staff, and friends of the program, collectors have been willing to pay a premium on the resale market, some pairs hitting five figures on sites like  StockX . That same energy will likely follow Hatfield’s latest delivery to the football team. First shared by  Nick DePaula , this year’s Oregon PE is the  Air Jordan 8 . The unique take on the model features a grey mesh and suede base, white micro-perforated leather straps, and the usual mix of black, green, and yellow accents. The highlight on this shoe is the first-ever chenille tongue patch bearing...

Kobe Bryant's Adidas Dunk Contest Shoes Are Returning in 2022 Here's an official look.

Image
As  reported  earlier this year, several Adidas basketball sneakers that  Kobe Bryant  wore during the early years of his storied NBA career are returning to shelves in 2022 including the  EQT Elevation  he laced up during his rookie season in 1997. Shown here are the official Adidas product images of next year’s EQT Elevation release, which has been renamed the Crazy 97 EQT. Bryant famously wore this iteration of the shoe during the 1997 NBA Slam Dunk Contest at that year’s All-Star Weekend in Cleveland and fittingly enough, the 2022 All-Star festivities will also take place in Cleveland. The model’s standout feature is the Feet You Wear tech on the tooling, which serves as an extension of the wearer’s foot as seen with the rounded outsole design that’s meant to keep the foot closer to the ground. As of now, release details for the Crazy 97 EQT have yet to be announ...

Patent Leather 'Bred' Air Jordan 1s to Release This December Part of Jordan Brand's Holiday 2021 lineup.

Image
Several variations of the “Bred”  Air Jordan 1  have released since its introduction in 1985, all generally well received. Many will argue that it’s not only the greatest Air Jordan of all-time, but perhaps the single greatest sneaker ever released. So news of a 2021 return wouldn’t have been met with much resistance, and it is happening, but maybe not the way you’d expect. According to  ZSneakerheadz  and  DJ Folk , the “Bred” Air Jordan 1 is back this October, but this time delivered with a full patent leather upper. All other details are expected to remain consistent with the standard version of the shoe. It’s also believed that based on the style code, the shoe will be available in more than just men’s sizing. To be clear, the image above is just a placeholder mock-up until the first images surface. There will likely be a few who express disappointment about this direction as opposed to a traditional leather release initially, but if this retro d...
