'Jade Horizon' Air Jordan 5 Release Gets Pushed Back New release date revealed.

In addition to the return of the “Toro Bravo” and “Oreo” makeups this year, Jordan Brand is also treating Air Jordan 5 fans to a new “Jade Horizon” colorway.

Early images have surfaced this week of the previously unseen Air Jordan 5 “Jade Horizon” courtesy of @Ryivibes on Instagram. The upcoming retro features a light green nubuck upper and the hue continues onto the shoelaces before the look is broken up with a grey tongue and sock liner. Black covers a majority of the midsole while pink appears on the shark teeth design.

As of now, Jordan Brand has yet to officially announce a release date for the “Jade Horizon” Jordan 5 but according to zSneakerheadz, the pair will hit shelves on Dec. 4. Check back soon to onedopeassblogger for updates.

UPDATE (12/02/21): Initially slated to hit stores this weekend, @zSneakerheadz reports that the “Jade Horizon” Air Jordan 5 will now release sometime in February 2022. Stay tuned to onedopeassblogger for official details in the weeks ahead.

UPDATE (01/31/22): It appears that the “Jade Horizon” Air Jordan 5 release has been delayed again. Per @zSneakerheadz, the new colorway will now release on March 25 and will be available in full-family sizing. Check back soon for updates.

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Rapper XXXTentacion (real name: Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), who was  shot to death  at the age of 20 Monday, wasn’t yet a household name. But he was well on his way.
