First Look at the 'Light Olive Concord' Air Jordan 9 The original colorway is reimagined

As we enter the final stretch of 2022, leaks of potential styles for Jordan Brand’s 2023 retro lineup continue to surface including this new iteration of the Jordan 9 coming soon.

This Air Jordan 9 shown here dons a “Light Olive Concord” color scheme and, according to @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, the shoe is slated to hit stores on Jan. 7, 2023. As the style suggests, it essentially uses the original “Olive” colorway of the silhouette but is remixed with Concord and Aquatone hits on the heel’s pull tab and ‘23’ embroidery. Much like the “Olive” Jordan 9, this pair features a blacked-out midsole, with the Jumpman logo dressed in the Concord hue.

As of now, a release date for this “Light Olive Concord” Air Jordan 9 has not yet been announced by Jordan Brand. Grab a closer look below courtesy of @Solesbyzay_backup as we await official updates from the brand.

10 killed, 73 shot in bloodiest week of the year

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do. But the number of CPD detectives has been cut since then.  As Mayor Rahm Emanuel prepares to run for re-election, he'll swear in 100 new detectives later this month and promises 100 more by the end of the year. Rapper XXXTentacion (real name: Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), who was  shot to death  at the age of 20 Monday, wasn’t yet a household name. But he was well on his way.
