Takashi Murakami Gets His Own Nike Air Force 1 Collab As part of RTFKT's Forging SZN 1 collection

We’re just a few months removed since RTFKT and Nike released their first joint NFT project and now, the duo has tapped legendary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami for its next drop.

Shown here is the “Murakami Drip” RTFKT x Takashi Murakami x Nike Air Force 1 Low that’s part of the NFT company’s Forging SZN 1 collection of virtual products. There are 10 different collections as part of this drop including Clone X, Human, Robot, Demon, Angel, Reptile, Undead, and  Alien, while Murakami will be the only entity in the group with two capsules. Holders of the respective NFTs will be able to forge the pieces from the specific collections, which means that the “Murakami Drip” Nike Air Force 1s will only be available to Murakami NFT holders.

The minting of RTFKT’s Forging SZN 1 NFT collection kicked off yesterday, with the option to claim the physical products to be announced at a later date. At the time of writing, the current asking price for the “Murakami Drip” Nike Air Force 1 is 0.53 ETH, which converts to $813.02.

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street.
