Aime Leon Dore's Next New Balance 650s Release Next Week Three colorways coming soon
After learning that Kith is releasing a set of 990 styles tomorrow, fellow New Balance collaborator Aimé Leon Dore also has a new sneaker project on the way.
Shown here is the previously unseen Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650 and 550 colorways courtesy of @iamricosauv on Instagram. The materials and color blocking used on the sneakers suggest that they could be designated for the New York-based label’s forthcoming 2022 Fall/Winter collection but the release details have yet to be shared by the leaker account.
The unreleased Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 dons a tonal navy suede upper and is offset by white tooling. The 650 styles sport a sail mesh upper and are paired with either blue or grey leather overlay panels. Co-branding appears on the tongue and heel counter of the silhouettes.
At the time of publication, release details for these Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650 and 550 styles haven’t been announced by either of the parties involved. Check back soon to Sole Collector for official updates.
UPDATE (09/16): In addition to the unreleased 650 and 550 makeups that leaked last week, Aimé Leon Dore has taken it upon itself to reveal an upcoming New Balance 550 release with the grey-based style shown below. There are no release details available for these collabs but we’ll update you if anything changes.
UPDATE (09/30): While we await release info for Aimé Leon Dore’s new renditions of the New Balance 550, the New York City-based brand has announced that three high-top New Balance 650s will be up for raffle next week. The sneakers will be available in green, grey, and navy-based uppers and feature Aimé Leon Dore’s signature details including an aged “N” logo and custom tongue branding.
The draw for the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650s begins Oct. 3 at 11 a.m. ET and the sneakers retail for $165 apiece. Take a closer look below and check back for more updates on the 550 soon.
