JJJJound's Next Bapesta Collab Drops Next Week Release details confirmed

After delivering several noteworthy collabs this year including its most recent New Balance 990v4 release in October, JJJJound is now looking ahead to 2022 by teasing a new sneaker project with A Bathing Ape.

A newly shared image from the Montreal-based imprint’s Instagram account shows a first look at the JJJJound x A Bathing Ape Bapesta that’s scheduled to release during the first half of next year. Both entities bring forth a minimalistic design approach to the collab with a premium white leather upper, while subtle grey accents dress the “Bapesta” branding on the tongue, the star logo on the sides, the heel tab, and the outsole. The shoe is accompanied by special packaging that features Bape’s signature ABC camo in grey printed throughout the shoebox along with JJJJound branding stamped at the center.

As of now, a specific release date for this JJJJound x A Bathing Ape Bapesta collab has yet to be announced but keep it locked to One Dope Ass Blogger for updates.

UPDATE (02/01): After sharing a teaser in December, JJJJound has officially confirmed that its collaboration with Bape is launching this week. In addition to the already previewed Bapesta collab, the capsule will include a co-branded Bape hoodie and t-shirt. The JJJJound x Bape collection will release this Saturday, Feb. 5 at 12 p.m. ET at JJJJound.com and at Bape stores globally.

UPDATE (12/29): After releasing their first Bape Sta collab in February, JJJJound and Bape have confirmed that their second Bape Sta collab will be released in a new white and navy colorway on Jan. 7, 2023, at JJJJound.com and at Bape stockists globally. Grab a closer look at the collab below.

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street.
