Sneakers From StockX Are Coming to Walmart Here's what to know about the latest partnership.

Walmart is reporting entering a new partnership with StockX, where Walmart consumers will soon have access to products from the Detroit-based marketplace. News of the partnership was first reported by Bloomberg on Wednesday.

In the story, it was revealed that over a hundred items from StockX will be available on Walmart's website as soon as next week. While specific styles weren't revealed, consumers can expect to find sneakers ranging from Nike to Jordan Brand to Adidas and ASICS. The shoes will still go through StockX's rigorous authentication process before they arrive at the final destination, but there will also be pre-verified pairs available on the site.

According to the story, this latest move from Walmart is an attempt to bolster its online marketplace against its competitors like Amazon. StockX's CEO, Scott Cutler, said in an interview obtained by Bloomberg that he hopes this partnership will help the marketplace reach a new consumer base, specifically those who weren't previously unfamiliar with the company.

At the time of writing, official details surrounding the partnership between StockX and Walmart have yet to be announced by the parties involved.
