Not only are classic Air Jordan styles like the "Black Cement" Jordan 3 and the "Columbia" Jordan 11 releasing this holiday season, Jordan Brand is also introducing a new Jordan 5 colorway in early December.

The latest Air Jordan 5 dons one of the simplest color schemes for the silhouette to date, featuring a white leather upper offset by grey plastic eyelets, a reflective silver tongue, and a black sockliner with matching Jumpman branding on the heel. Breaking up the look is the speckled shark teeth detail at the midfoot of the predominantly black midsole, while a semi-translucent outsole sits below.

The white and black Air Jordan 5 will not only be available in adult sizes but will come in big kids and toddler sizes too.

Readers will be able to cop this upcoming Air Jordan 5 colorway on Dec. 7 via SNKRS and at select retailers for $200.

10 killed, 73 shot in bloodiest week of the year

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do. But the number of CPD detectives has been cut since then.  As Mayor Rahm Emanuel prepares to run for re-election, he'll swear in 100 new detectives later this month and promises 100 more by the end of the year.
