A Prototype Version of the Nike Air Diamond Turf Releases Nike is releasing the Air Diamond Turf Proto

The retro run for Deion Sanders' Nike Air Diamond Turf will continue this week but this time, the brand is releasing an early prototype version of the cross-trainer.

As confirmed on the SNKRS release calendar, a black and white colorway of the Air Diamond Turf Proto '92 is dropping on Friday. According to the product description, this pair references a prototype version of the silhouette that was originally released in 1993.

The most noticeable difference between this pair and the standard version of the Air Diamond Turf is the shift of the Swoosh logo on the midfoot strap from the center to the sides. Prime Time's signature branding still appears on the tongue and on the heel's pull tab.

Readers will be able to cop the Nike Air Diamond Turf Proto '92 on Friday via SNKRS and at select retailers for $150.

  Jordan Brand will collaborate with Nike SB on an Air Jordan 4 that’s scheduled to release in March 2023, a sneaker industry source tells Complex. News of the collaboration was first reported  by Nice Kicks  on Monday. According to Nice Kicks, the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 will have a heel tab bearing the Nike SB logo instead of the Nike Air or Jumpman logos. A source tells Complex that the SB-style Air Jordan 4 will be retooled for skateboarding. Years before the first Nike SB x Air Jordan project was released, there were rumors about Nike’s skateboarding division connecting with Michael Jordan’s Nike sub-brand. Air Jordan 5 'Fire Red' Confirmed for 2025 Retro For the first time since 2013

  Along with the  “Black Metallic Reimagined”  and  “Grape”  variations, another original Air Jordan 5 will return in 2025 for the shoe’s 35th anniversary. This time it’s the “Fire Red” colorway. As reported by leaker zSneakerHeadz, the upcoming retro is set to drop again in Fall 2025. The “Fire Red” Air Jordan 5 is one of four original colorways, along with the “Black Metallic,” “White Metallic,” and “Grape,” from the model’s initial run in 1990. The sneaker was worn on the court by Michael Jordan and is the only original version with his #23 embroidered on the heel. The “Fire Red” 5 came back to retail for the first time in 2006, again in 2013, and additionally as a low-cut variation in 2016. However, it’s never been back with its original Nike Air heel branding.
