First Look at the 2025 'Blue Spark' Nike Air Max 95 This fan-favorite Nike Air Max 95 colorway returns this summer in 'big bubble' form.
This year’s 30th anniversary celebration of the Nike Air Max 95 will continue with a release of the Air Max 95 “Blue Spark” that’s scheduled for August, sneaker industry sources tell One Dope Ass Blogger. The Nike Air Max 95 “Blue Spark” is a returning pair that uses the same gradient colorblocking as the original “Neon” Air Max 95, but with blue as its accent color.
News of the “Blue Spark” Air Max 95 retro was first reported by Sole Retriever.
Nike’s Air Max 95 “Blue Spark” (style code IM7409-100) is slated as part of the brand’s Fall 2025 collection. It’s possible the shoe could arrive after August; sneaker release dates can often shift, and the “Neon” retro this month was hampered slightly by shipping delays.
Nike has released this kind of blue-accented Air Max 95 before. There was a “Crystal Blue” Air Max 95 in 2018, a “Blue Spark” in 2011, and a "Photo Blue” in 2010. The version of the sneaker slated for ‘25 will be different in that it will use the updated “big bubble” Air Max 95 shape, meaning the shoe will be slightly roomier in size and look a little more like the original 95s from 1995. The “Blue Spark” Nike Air Max 95 (official colorway white/blue spark/neutral grey/medium grey) will retail for $180.
UPDATE (05/19): Thanks to Corteiz's Clint419 on X, we now have an early look at this year's "Blue Spark" Air Max 95 retro. As expected, the sneaker will feature the OG-styled big bubble treatment in the midsole. At the time of writing, a firm release date has not yet been announced by Nike, but the release is scheduled to take place in August.
