'Rap City' host Big Tigger arrested for battery, cruelty to children
Police arrested former BET “Rap City” host Big Tigger on charges of battery and third-degree cruelty to children on June 20, records show.
Big Tigger, whose birth name is Darian Morgan, was booked into the Fulton County Jail and released after posting $10,000 in surety bonds on the same day, according to police records. An arrest affidavit alleged that Big Tigger and Brown got into an argument in May over text messages the former received from a female colleague, according to WSB-TV2. Brown claimed the woman had been sending messages for two weeks, and alleged that the dispute escalated into Big Tigger first tackling her and later shoving her. He reportedly faces the cruelty to children charge due to their 13-year-old son being in the house. The two also welcomed a son together in 2025.

The famous media personality issued a statement to the outlet addressing the alleged incident with his wife.
“I appreciate the support and concern that so many people have shown,” he told the outlet.
“I want to say categorically that these allegations and accusations that have been circulating are false,” he continued. “Additionally, it’s important to clarify that Francesca and I have never been anything more than friends and colleagues.” ATLANTA, GEORGIA – NOVEMBER 14: Radio personality Big Tigger visits “The Big Tigger Morning Show with Jazzy McBee” at Audacy Atlanta on November 14, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia.
