Shooter’s girlfriend arrested as accomplice in deadly robbery, per affidavit

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged a woman in connection with a deadly shooting.

According to the affidavit, on August 4, officers responded to a shooting call on Faxon Avenue and Harrell Street.

When officers arrived, they located a male victim sitting in his Cadillac, suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

The affidavit says that surveillance footage from a nearby business caught both suspects, Katira Johnson and Tomarrion Smith, on video. Smith, standing at the driver’s side door of the Cadillac, fired multiple shots into the vehicle, striking the victim.

They were both later seen rummaging through the victim’s car.

When Smith was taken into custody and informed police that Johnson was his girlfriend and that she called him to come to the location before the shooting.

Johnson is now facing charges for first-degree murder and first-degree murder during the perpetration of a robbery.

Best Look Yet at the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 Dropping next week

  Jordan Brand will collaborate with Nike SB on an Air Jordan 4 that’s scheduled to release in March 2023, a sneaker industry source tells Complex. News of the collaboration was first reported  by Nice Kicks  on Monday. According to Nice Kicks, the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 will have a heel tab bearing the Nike SB logo instead of the Nike Air or Jumpman logos. A source tells Complex that the SB-style Air Jordan 4 will be retooled for skateboarding. Years before the first Nike SB x Air Jordan project was released, there were rumors about Nike’s skateboarding division connecting with Michael Jordan’s Nike sub-brand.
