'Gold Toe' Jordan 1s Releasing in January Not mismatched this time.

Jordan Brand will be releasing another black and gold, patent leather Air Jordan 1 to kick off the new year. 
The new pair is largely similar to the black and gold "Top Three" pair that debuted this past Nov. at ComplexCon before receiving a wider release a few weeks later on Cyber Monday. However, this new pair ditches the mismatched color blocking in favor of a more traditional, uniform pair. Gold patent leather is used on the heel and toe box, while black patent leather can be seen on the toe, eyelets, ankle collar, and medial side panels. White hits come in the form of white leather on the lateral side panels and a white midsole. 
According to J23, this new pair is slated to drop on Jan. 15 for $160, but an official release date and retail pricing have yet to be confirmed by Jordan Brand.

10 killed, 73 shot in bloodiest week of the year

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do. But the number of CPD detectives has been cut since then.  As Mayor Rahm Emanuel prepares to run for re-election, he'll swear in 100 new detectives later this month and promises 100 more by the end of the year. XXXTentacion shot to death at the age of 20

Rapper XXXTentacion (real name: Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), who was  shot to death  at the age of 20 Monday, wasn’t yet a household name. But he was well on his way.
