More Detailed Shots of the 'Katrina' Air Jordan 3 Have Surfaced A closer look at the kids' version of the anticipated retro.
One of the more anticipated retros slated for 2018 is the first ever release of the "Katrina" Air Jordan 3—a shoe that was once auctioned off to raise money for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. While fans wait in anticipation, more images have surfaced ahead of the pair's May 2018 retail debut.
These new images, courtesy of @zsneakerheadz on Instagram, give a closer look at various details of the sneaker like the toe box, heel tab, outsole, and side panels. It is also worth noting that these images showcase a kid's version of the sneaker. Some noticeable differences between past kid's and men's pairs are larger perforations on the lace and heel panels. While previous rumors insisted otherwise, it looks like the "Katrina" will not be given the OG "Nike Air" heel tab after all, although this could be switched up on bigger sized pairs.
The "Katrina" Air Jordan 3 is set to release in sizes for the whole family on May 12. Men's pairs will retail at $190.
