'Desert Elephant' Air Jordan 3 Release Is Reportedly Delayed The new colorway is now expected to drop in August

In addition to reports that a new purple-based colorway is hitting shelves next summer, word of another Air Jordan 3 release is making rounds on social media.

Per zSneakerheadz, there’s also a premium Air Jordan 3 “Desert Elephant” makeup arriving in 2022. Based on the mock-up imagery provided by the leaker account, the forthcoming pair will resemble the classic “Black Cement” colorway but swaps the grey accents on the tongue, sock liner, and outsole for brown. Additionally, the account also states that the elephant print overlays will have a “Natural” finish and will come in special packaging. As of now, imagery of the shoe has yet to surface.

There’s currently no confirmed info on the “Desert Elephant” Air Jordan 3 from Jordan Brand but I'll keep you updated with new information in the months ahead.

UPDATE (06/09): With the release right around the corner, official Nike product images of the “Desert Elephant” Air Jordan 3 have now emerged. Per @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, the new colorway is slated to hit stores on July 25 for $200. Check back soon to one dope ass blogger for official updates in the coming weeks.

UPDATE (06/27): Initially rumored to release in July, new information from @zSneakerheadz now suggests that the “Desert Elephant” Air Jordan 3 will launch on Aug. 30. Grab an official look below.

From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. Rapper XXXTentacion (real name: Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), who was  shot to death  at the age of 20 Monday, wasn’t yet a household name. But he was well on his way.
