Best Look Yet at the 'Chicago Split' Nike Dunk Featuring new split details

Sneaker fans who have been paying attention will notice that Nike Dunk releases aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. The latest leak for the popular low-top model is this red-based colorway possibly hitting retail in 2023.

Shown here is an unreleased “Chicago Split” makeup of the Nike Dunk Low courtesy of @woganwodeyang on Instagram. It’s unclear whether the color scheme was inspired by anything specific at the moment, but the style could be based on the Chicago Bulls team colors. The shoe features a two-tone upper including bright red accents on the overlay panels. There are special split details on the shoe including the tongue tag, the Swoosh branding, and the outsole.

Despite an early look from @woganwodeyang, there are no official release details available for this “Chicago Split” Nike Dunk Low. Keep it locked to One Dope Ass Blogger for updates in the coming months.

UPDATE (03/23): Official product images of the “Chicago Split” Dunk Low have emerged on the backend of Nike’s website. Grab a closer look at the shoe as we await release details from the brand.

10 killed, 73 shot in bloodiest week of the year

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do. But the number of CPD detectives has been cut since then.  As Mayor Rahm Emanuel prepares to run for re-election, he'll swear in 100 new detectives later this month and promises 100 more by the end of the year.
