J Balvin Seen Wearing His Upcoming Air Jordan 3 Collaboration First look the Medellín-inspired pair.

J Balvin and Jordan Brand will reportedly continue their collaborative Air Jordan releases in 2023. According to leakers @zSneakerheadz and @Brandon1an on Instagram, next up between the partners is a new Air Jordan 3 collab arriving this fall. 

At the time of writing, an early look at the purported J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 has yet to surface, but based on the info shared by the accounts, the shoe will don a multicolored colorway much like the Reggaeton musician’s previous Air Jordan 1 High and Air Jordan 2 collabs. The sneaker is also expected to be available in full-family sizing, which includes unisex, preschool, and toddler sizes.

In addition to the sneaker, the forthcoming project will once again include a collaborative apparel collection featuring co-branded leather vests and woven jackets.

As of now, the rumored J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 collab will be released on Sept. 2, but the release has yet to be announced by either of the parties involved.

UPDATE (05/07): Attending today’s Miami Grand Prix, J Balvin treated the public to a first look at his upcoming Air Jordan 3 collaboration. The pair, inspired by the sunsets of his hometown Medellín, features a sail-on-sail upper, yellow trim, and sunset gradients along the midsole and heel tab. Balvin’s logo adorns the heel of the right shoe, while ‘Nike Air’ is displayed on the left. The singer was also seen wearing the shoes on set for his music video for “Toretto” on the Fast X soundtrack. No additional details, including the release date, have been announced.

10 killed, 73 shot in bloodiest week of the year

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do. But the number of CPD detectives has been cut since then.  As Mayor Rahm Emanuel prepares to run for re-election, he'll swear in 100 new detectives later this month and promises 100 more by the end of the year. Rapper XXXTentacion (real name: Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), who was  shot to death  at the age of 20 Monday, wasn’t yet a household name. But he was well on his way.
