Kobe Bryant's Draft Day Trade Inspires This Nike Dunk Here's how to buy the 'Charlotte to LA' Dunk Low Protro.

Nike is once again referencing the late Kobe Bryant and his Draft Day lore with an upcoming Dunk release.

Shown here is the “Charlotte to LA” Nike Dunk Low Protro, which is a new colorway that’s scheduled to hit retailers in late June. The sneaker pays tribute to the 1996 NBA Draft, where Bryant was selected no. 13 overall by the Charlotte Hornets but immediately traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, where he would spend the entirety of his 20-year NBA career.

The “Charlotte to LA” Dunk Low sports the Hornets’ teal and purple team colors, but underneath the panels on the upper are hints of the Lakers’ purple and gold hues. Nike also confirmed that this Protro version of the Dunk features modern tech, including drop-in React foam insoles.

Readers will be able to cop this “Charlotte to LA” Dunk Low Protro on June 20 via SNKRS and at select retailers for $145.
