A drug-buy-gone-bad ends in tourist's death after he's tossed from car hood, cops say Five days after  a man visiting from California was left to die on a roadway, police have made an arrest in a case they say that began as a minor drug purchase and morphed into hit and run. According to police, Californian Steven Beech, 38, met a woman at a Miami Beach bar, accompanied her to an ATM to get money to go buy drugs, then jumped on the hood of the car as the woman drove off. Early Saturday morning police found Beech bleeding with severe trauma to his head on the road near Liberty Avenue and 20th Street. He died in the hospital two days later. Wednesday afternoon, police arrested Latravia Chantae Reed, 33 and charged her with first-degree murder, leaving the scene of a deadly crash, strong-arm robbery and credit card fraud. A Texas police officer nicknamed “Blade” after Marvel Comics’ vampire hunter is being lauded as a real champ when he was caught on video during an impromptu boxing match with a teen after responding to a noise complaint. Officer Winston Bowen squared up with the unidentified teenager at Hillcrest Apartments in Mesquite on Memorial Day. CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do. But the number of CPD detectives has been cut since then.  As Mayor Rahm Emanuel prepares to run for re-election, he'll swear in 100 new detectives later this month and promises 100 more by the end of the year. Jorge Porto-Sierra, who had a plan to “barbecue all the child molesters and kill them,” is  now in jail .  Police say that the 50-year-old Porto-Sierra was trying to kill sex offenders and set them on fire at the Friendly Village Inn & Motel in Kissimmee, Fla. An Osceola County detective said the man admitted his plan and he has now been charged with four counts of attempted premeditated murder. According to the police report, a man was standing outside his room when Porto-Sierra jumped out of his car and began screaming at the individual. Terrified, the man ran back into his room, prompting Porto-Sierra to break one motel’s windows and pour gasoline inside. The enraged Porto-Sierra also reportedly yelled, “You’re going to die child molester! I’m coming in!” Meanwhile, the man and his roommate escaped through the back window. SHREVEPORT, LA - The man charged with killing his ex-girlfriend while the world watched on Facebook Live will have to wait another week to enter a plea.  Johnathan Robinson, 37, is charge with second-degree murder in the April 11 death of 27-year-old Rannita Williams. Although Robinson was scheduled to be arraigned in Caddo District Court this morning, the arraignment was postponed until May 29, when a preliminary examination is scheduled.  Defense attorney Kurt Goins filed a motion on April 27 requesting a preliminary examination be held prior to the case being sent to the grand jury.  Robinson also is charged with seven counts of attempted second-degree murder for the police officer he's accused of shooting and injuring, as well as six he's accused of shooting at. MEMPHIS, Tenn.  - A 19-year-old was shot and killed at the Top Notch Market in Raleigh early Sunday morning. Memphis police responded to the scene at 12:40 a.m. in the 4200 block of Stage Rd.Officers found a 19-year-old male shot and killed on the scene The suspect is reportedly known to the victim. That suspect fled the scene in a red sedan this is an ongoing investigation.

As we have previously reported, rapper Nas and his ex-wifey  Kelis have been in a child support battle over their 8-year old son, Knight, since last December. Kelis is currently getting $8,000 per month in financial support from Nas, but their son is growing and she believes her ex can afford to increase payments! However, Nas is like, ‘Not so fast!’ In documents obtained by TMZ, Nas showed that he earns roughly $175k per month from music, investments and other sources. The rapper also has over $8.3 million in cash in the bank. His monthly expenses are $76,834.04, and the figure includes $15,000 in rent, and $20,245.70 which goes to financially supporting family members including his father. A judge has yet to rule on whether or not Kelis will get an increase, but we’ll definitely keep y’all updated!

Disturbing cellphone video shows the moment police officers fighting with a 17-year-old in a Wisconsin mall parking lot punch the minor in the face. The dramatic video was captured by a fellow mall shopper, who later posted it on social media. Security guards at Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, called police officers on Friday afternoon for people making a disturbance and refusing to leave,  WDJT-TV reports.  Officers from the Wauwatosa Police Department responded to the call, and witness video shows two of them in an altercation with the teen. Within the first few seconds of the video, one officer punches the teen, and the two work together to bring the teen to ground. According to the victim, he was approached by two transgenders - one had a gun and the other had a knife. The transgenders tied his wrists together and dragged him behind a house where one of them performed a sex act on the boy while the other one watched. Police believe that one of the transgender rapists were Javoris Quentin Phillips, 36. He was picked up this week after a warrant for his arrest was issued in Broward County. Javoris is being held without bond and charged with kidnapping and lewd and lascivious battery of a victim older than 12 but younger than 15. The second transgender suspect is still at large. The boy told police he had previously seen the two men dressed as women driving around the neighborhood in the same gray car that they fled in. MTO News obtained a video of a woman attempting to LIVESTREAM a fight - which quickly turned into a gun battle. The video was shot in a violent ridden area outside of Rio De Janeiro in Brazil. An argument broke out between two groups of men at a gas station. And words  quickly turned to fists, and fists turned to bullets.
