Last week's   Nike SNKRS Showcase   gave fans plenty of insight on what's coming down the pipeline from the brand in 2024 and beyond. One of the drops that will undoubtedly be the most anticipated of the bunch is the return of the original "Royal" Air Foamposite One. Not only did the Swoosh confirm the reissue of the classic hoops sneaker, but the brand broke down some of the details on this upcoming retro. The 2024 version (pictured above) is the closest thing we've ever seen to the original 1997 release, as it features subtle details like the outlined mini Swoosh by the toe box as well as a black and royal blue-colored shank plate at the midfoot. It's worth noting that both aforementioned elements have been missing from previous retros and were last seen on the '97 pair. Additionally, Nike also confirmed that the popular  "Eggplant"  colorway of the sneaker is also coming back next year.  At the time of writing, a formal release date for next

Longtime collaborators  Supreme  and Nike are reportedly reconnecting on a new  Air Force 1  collab this fall. Thus far, Supreme has three tonal  white,  black, and  flax  iterations of its collaborative  Air Force 1 Low  that are constantly being restocked on its website. Possibly joining that lineup is a “Baroque Brown” colorway, according to  Sole Retriever.  There are no leaked images of the purported style at the time of writing, but the mock-up depicts an all-brown pair similar to the three aforementioned looks. The shoe is expected to feature Supreme’s iconic box logo in red on the heel and footbed just like the previous pairs. Release details for the rumored “Baroque Brown” Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Low have yet to be announced by the brands, but the new colorway is expected to drop as part of Supreme’s 2023 Fall/Winter collection. Keep it locked for official updates in the coming months. UPDATE (08/14):  Supreme has officially  unveiled  its “Baroque Brown” Air Force 1 Low

'Neapolitan' Air Jordan 11s Officially Drop in November Following an early release on SNKRS.

Just days after rumors surfaced of the  “DMP” Air Jordan 11’s  return, a new colorway of Michael Jordan’s 11th signature sneaker is said to be on the way later this year. According to info from  @zsneakerheadz  and  @sneakerfiles , a women’s exclusive Air Jordan 11 is dropping in a new “Neapolitan” colorway this holiday season. As of now, details are scarce and only mock-up depictions exist of the rumored release, but as its name suggests, the pair is expected to combine shades of white, brown, and pink. It’s not yet confirmed which color will fill in the model’s signature patent leather mudguard, although the early rendering above suggests it could be pink with brown branding accents. Jordan Brand treated its female consumers to a  similarly themed Air Jordan 3  in May 2022. With an expected retail price of $225, this  Air Jordan 11 WMNS “Neapolitan”  is slated to arrive sometime this winter. Check back soon for the latest updates.   It appears that one of  Nike’s  popular ACG silhouettes will reportedly inspire an upcoming  Air Jordan 6  release. Per  @zSneakerheadz  and  Sneaker Files,  a  Nike Air Mowabb -inspired Air Jordan 6 will release exclusively in women’s sizing this holiday season. There are no leaked images of the shoe available at the time of writing, but the mock-up depiction from  @zSneakerheadz  suggests that the ACG sneaker’s original  “Rattan Birch”  colorway will be transferred to Michael Jordan’s sixth signature shoe. The pair is expected to feature a tan suede upper with purple and orange accents covering the tongue, sockliner, and heel tab. Rounding out the design are the speckled midsole and an icy translucent outsole. There are no official release details for this Mowabb-inspired Air Jordan 6 makeup. Check back soon for further updates, including a first look in the months ahead. UPDATE (10/30):  Thanks to  @zSneakerheadz  and  @Brandon1an  on Instagram, we now have retail shots at the upc

Nike Air Penny 1 References Penny Hardaway's Lester Middle School An upcoming retro of the Nike Air Max Penny 1 features a black and yellow color scheme inspired by Lester Middle School, where Hardaway played and once coached

Image
Nike will continue its retro treatment of the  Air Max Penny 1  this year with a black and yellow pair that’s inspired by Penny Hardaway’s middle school alma mater, a sneaker industry source tells Complex. The Lester Middle School-themed Penny 1 (style code FN6884-100) is scheduled to be released in the brand’s Fall 2023 collection for $180, per the source. The image shown here is a mockup of the sneakers based on an internal Nike presentation on the shoe and not an actual photo of the finished product. In addition to playing there, Hardaway  coached at Lester Middle  in the 2010s. While this upcoming retro draws inspiration from the school’s colors, it will not be an actual collaboration with the school. In response to a request for comment, a Nike spokesperson said that the shoe will just be referred to as an Air Max Penny. The sneaker will not officially be called the “Lester” Air Max Penny 1. The Penny 1 originally released in 1995 as Hardaway’s first signature shoe with Nike. Th
