'Blackout' Air Jordan 11 Retro Reportedly Releasing in May Unreleased sample being readied for retail.

Image
It looks like another unreleased Air Jordan sample is being sent to the production line. According to  soleheatonfeet , the "Blackout"  Air Jordan 11 Retro  will make its retail debut in May 2018. While no images exist, it'll likely resemble the sample pictured above, which first surfaced in 2011. Jordan 11 Mids are typically reserved for Q4 launches, so it's surprising to see these pop up on the spring calendar. With Nike expected to make  Air Jordans more limited in 2018 , there may be old school level hype for this  release . Keep it locked for more details in the coming months. At Least One Adult Got 'Hey Penny' Foamposites Penny himself.

Image
Children today who are able to fit into Little Posite Ones likely never got to see  Penny Hardaway  play basketball in his prime. That said, the likelihood of their awareness of the 20-plus-year-old "Hey Penny" poster on which the "Hey Penny" Little Posite Ones are based  seems unlikely, at best . The reason for such a shoe's existence exclusively in kids' sizes may be a mystery, but there's at least one adult who got to enjoy this piece of nostalgia: Penny himself.  Hardaway  was spotted  wearing a pair in his size while coaching at this past weekend's City of Palms Classic basketball tournament. So, while many fans who may have actually appreciated the sneaker have been left in the cold thanks to the lack of availability in men's sizing, at least the individual behind the story was able to fit into a pair of his own.

Michael Jordan and Tinker Hatfield Gave Out Exclusive Air Jordans for Christmas A custom pair of Jordan 11s for the holiday.

Image
Air Jordan 11s  are a Christmas tradition, with Jordan Brand usually releasing a different colorway of that all-important shoe every December. This year, it upped the ante by bringing out two pairs for the end of the year: the  "Win Like '82" in November  and the  "Win Like '96" in December . On top of that, there was this exclusive Air Jordan 11 sent out to a friend of the brand for Christmas. The sneaker, shown on Instagram by Carlos Prieto (owner of Solefly sneaker boutique in Miami and brother-in-law to  Michael Jordan ), is a Jordan 11 Low with a special Santa Claus tongue tag. This pair was accompanied by a sketch and a message from Jordan and  Tinker Hatfield  encouraging the recipient to "enjoy your Christmas sneaks." The present is slightly less exciting than it could have been given that the base shoe appears to be the standard "Barons" Air Jordan 11 Low that released in May 2017, but it's still a more impressive holi

This time it's the Air Jordan 3, covered in a school-inspired palette of maize and blue, with traditional cement grey detailing. Michigan's block-style 'M' logo is embroidered on the tongue.  The pair is a bit different from the sample included in the  full set  unveiled by Michigan earlier this year. The Wolverines also have  Jordan 9 Boots  and  Jordan 13 cleats  for the game, which is set for New Year's Day.

The 'Force' Is Strong with This New Pack From Nike Statement colorway of the Air Force 1 High and Low.

Image
Moving forward with the  Air Force 1 , Nike Sportswear's current strategy appears to be experimenting with the iconic model's branding as much as possible. That's the case again with the upcoming "Force Logo" Pack, which will include high and low-cut variations. First up are two pairs in simple white and black colorways, one of several schemes expected to release in the coming months. An exagerrated version of the Force logo from the 80s wraps the heel, while the tongue tags have been transformed to mimic the old Nike shoebox. The  release date  for the first wave of this collection is set for Thursday, Jan. 4 at  nike.com and Nike Sportswear retailers. 'Galaxy' Nike Foamposites Return in 2018 Prepare for liftoff...again.

Image
Foamposites are running a bit cold at the moment, so Nike Sportswear is resurrecting an old concept to bring the energy back next year. According to various leaks, the new multicolor  Nike Air Foamposite One  that  surfaced earlier this week  is actually an "Alternate Galaxy" colorway set for Feb. 2018. The shoe's nebula graphic print is a little less starry than that of its predecessor, which marked the peak of the Foamposite boom when it released during All-Star Weekend in 2012. The Feb. launch date suggests this pair could be connected to the All-Star festivities in Los Angeles. In addition to the graphic printed upper, this pair features the familiar 'Remove Before Flight' tag and a black rubber outsole. Keep it locked for what appears to be the next wave of "Galaxy" from Nike Sportswear. Nike Air Foamposite One  "Alternate Galaxy" Release Date:  Feb. 2018 Color:  Team Orange/Dark Grey-Black Style #:  AR3771-800 Price:  $230

Nike Sold 'Gatorade' Air Jordans in Actual 7-Elevens Also: It just confirmed the coming green 'Gatorade' Air Jordan 6.

Image
Nike implemented another geo-specific release through  its SNKRS app  this week, this time planting pairs of the "Gatorade" Air Jordan 1s in 7-Eleven stores. Through the app's Stash feature, select convenience stores in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City stocked pairs of the colorful sneakers. These Jordans are part of a wider collection created in partnership with Gatorade that celebrates Michael Jordan's 1991 "Be Like Mike" campaign. The Jordan 1s will get a global launch on Dec. 26. The pack will finish the year with the green "Gatorade" Air Jordan 6, a shoe that has long been rumored but not fully confirmed by Nike or Jordan until now. That pair, which releases on Dec. 30 for a premium price of $225, is listed  on the Nike SNKRS page now here . Nike has updated its SNKRS app, which is often the source of limited edition and collaboration pairs, in 2017 by gamifying occasional sneaker releases like this. The SNKRS platform also n

Fila Is Releasing an 'All Eyez on Me' Tupac Sneaker Mining the rapper's affinity for the shoe.

Image
That  Tupac Shakur once wore Fila sneakers  is not something those at the brand working hard to sell its retro sneakers are keen on ever forgetting. The moment is referenced here on new pair of the Fila 96 (formerly known as the  Grant Hill 2 ) that appears to be connected to  All Eyez on Me , the 2017 biopic about the late West Coast rapper. The shoes feature text referencing the movie (or perhaps the album of the same name) and a cross modeled after the one tattooed on Shakur's back. The liner has a paisley print that comes off as a nod to Shakur's trademark bandana.  According to Japanese sneaker store  Atmos , this black and red pair will release in Japan on Dec. 23.

'Gold Toe' Jordan 1s Releasing in January Not mismatched this time.

Image
Jordan Brand will be releasing another black and gold, patent leather  Air Jordan 1  to kick off the new year.  The new pair is largely similar to the  black and gold "Top Three" pair  that debuted this past Nov. at  ComplexCon  before receiving a wider release a few weeks later on Cyber Monday. However, this new pair ditches the mismatched color blocking in favor of a more traditional, uniform pair. Gold patent leather is used on the heel and toe box, while black patent leather can be seen on the toe, eyelets, ankle collar, and medial side panels. White hits come in the form of white leather on the lateral side panels and a white midsole.  According to  J23 , this new pair is slated to drop on Jan. 15 for $160, but an official release date and retail pricing have yet to be confirmed by Jordan Brand.

Another Women's Release of the Foamposite One With a chromed out upper.

Image
After releasing its  first ever Air Foamposite One colorway exclusively for women  this month, another women's colorway of popular basketball model famously rocked by  Penny Hardaway  has surfaced. This new pair has a chrome Foamposite upper, white leather trim, and an icy outsole. The signature Penny logo on the heel is stitched in silver as well. While this certainly isn't as good as the popular  "Pewter" Foams , this is an eye catching option for the female fans of the '90s classic, nonetheless. The "Chrome" Nike Air Foamposite One WMNS marks the second official women's color scheme from Nike releasing in as many months, meaning this could be a continuing trend for the Swoosh despite the model's fading popularity over the past few years.  While not an official release date, expect this pair to hit Nike retailers on Jan. 25 for $250.

Nike's Premium Foamposites Releasing Next Year A graphic pair coming next February.

Image
February is usually one of the busier months for sneaker releases, with big brands packing calendars with special product tied to the NBA All-Star Game. Nike's All-Star efforts in the past have included  Foamposites , and the brand may have more of those in the works for All-Star 2018. Shown here is a first leak of a graphic  Nike Air Foamposite One  that's rumored to release next February. That being said, there's no word on whether it's connected to All-Star Weekend. Some are already connecting this shoe to the  epic 2012 "Galaxy" Foamposite , although it's too early to tell at this point if it's actually related to that shoe in any way. The shoe  does  have a print on its upper, but what exactly that print depicts isn't apparent from this photo.

EX-BOYFRIEND OF BBWLA STAR JENNIFER WILLIAMS FILES FOR A RESTRAINING ORDER, ALLEGES SHE SLASHED HIS TIRES & TRIED TO RUN HIM OVER

Image
Jennifer Williams from BBWLA is living a page out of  JazmineSullivan’s handbook according to her ex James “Tim” Norman. The Welcome Home To Sweetie Pies reality star alleges that Williams is a crazed ex-girlfriend and has taken steps in order to protect himself by filing for a restraining order. Per documents obtained by TMZ, Norman was driving around LA when he noticed Williams was following him. He made his way home, however, two hours later, Norman noticed that two of his tires were slashed. The only reason he is blaming Jennifer is because this is just one of many incidents between them. Last summer, Norman says that Jennifer allegedly got behind the wheel of his car and tried to run him over! There was also an incident where Jennifer broke into Norman’s home and multiple times where she’s sent harassing texts alerting him that he’s “playing with the wrong one.”
