Closer Look at Nina Chanel Abney's Air Jordan 3 Collab The sneaker project is rumored to drop this summer

Image
We're almost two years removed from the release of  Nina Chanel Abney's   Air Jordan 2  collection, and now the New York-based artist has hinted at a new sneaker project. Abney shared a teaser image this week of a detached  Air Jordan 3  heel tab, which confirms the silhouette for her next Jordan collab. Leaked info for the sneaker initially surfaced on X last month when  @Brandon1an  revealed that a Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 3 collab is arriving in June. The Bicoastal/Black/Malachite/Fossil color scheme also matches what was shared by Abney, as the soft green hits appear on the Jordan 3 heel tab's "Nike Air" branding. The font on the heel logo has also been altered, so it's possible that other parts of the shoe will feature modifications of some sort. At the time of publication, the purported Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 3 collab has yet to be announced by either of the parties involved. Check back soon for official updates in the coming months.   It appears that  A Ma Maniére  and  Jordan Brand  are revisiting some of their most popular collabs,  with new colorways dropping next year. Per  Sneaker Files  and  @zSneakerheadz  on Instagram, the sneaker boutique has a new Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4 dropping in Fall 2024. Like the past versions, the styles are rumored to launch exclusively in women's sizing, but will be available in extended sizes. There are no leaked images of the purported styles at the time of writing, but the Air Jordan 3 is expected to don a similar color blocking to the previous  "Raised by Women"  colorway. This time around, the rumored pair sports burgundy accents on the upper instead of sail hits. The upcoming A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4 is expected to feature a white and grey upper, while burgundy and sail hits cover the rest of the silhouette. In addition to the two aforementioned styles, there's also a rumored  A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 17  reportedly dropping next year. Release d

Adding to the rumors of the original  "Flu Game" Air Jordan 12  and  "Black Metallic" Air Jordan 5  coming back, we're now getting word that one of the most popular retro Air Jordan 9 colorways is also expected to return next year. Early reports from trusted leakers  Sneaker Files  and  @zSneakerheadz  on Instagram reveal that the  "Cool Grey"  Air Jordan 9 is rereleasing sometime in 2025, but a specific timeframe wasn't shared. The "Cool Grey" iteration of  Michael Jordan's  ninth signature shoe was introduced in 2002 during the silhouette's first retro run, and the style was last released in 2012. The upcoming release is expected to be an exact retro and will feature a nubuck upper paired with patent leather overlay panels on the mudguard and collar. The style is also equipped with a white midsole and a smoky grey outsole. It's worth mentioning that the pair pictured above is the '12 version, as images of the purported
