First Look at the 'Black Pigeon' Nike SB Dunk Low Ishod Wair and Eric Koston do the honors.(Video Inside)

Nearly 13 years ago, Jeff Staple and Reed Space changed the sneaker collecting hobby forever when the "Pigeon" Nike SB Dunk Low release caused an actual riot in New York City. Since then, the limited edition sneaker has become one of the most sought after in the game, fetching as much as $10,000 on the open market.

As reported earlier this week, the "Pigeon" Dunk is rumored to be returning in November, this time in a previously unreleased black colorway. That information appears to have been confirmed by team riders Ishod Wair and Eric Koston, who shared first looks at the "Black Pigeons" on Instagram.
According to Pinoe77, the "Black Pigeon" Nike SB Dunk Low is expected to release on Saturday, Nov. 11. Production number, locations and pricing haven't been announced, but expect updates in the coming weeks.

10 killed, 73 shot in bloodiest week of the year

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do. But the number of CPD detectives has been cut since then.  As Mayor Rahm Emanuel prepares to run for re-election, he'll swear in 100 new detectives later this month and promises 100 more by the end of the year.
