Monique Lied To Y’all Netflix Didn’t Offer Her $500K They Offered Her 3 MILLION But SHE TURNED IT DOWN!!

Mo’Nique has been all over social media – asking for Black people to BOYCOTT Netflix – because they offered her $500K to do a special – an amount that she finds insulting.
Well, according to entertainment journalist Jawn Murray – Mo’Nique is LYING. Jawn claims that Netflix’s FIRST offer was a LOT MORE than $500k.
Jawn claims that Mo’Nique was offered a chance at a $3M payday on Netflix – but she had to do a LIVE AUDITION for the network bigwigs.
The “Almost Christmas” star thought it was “beneath her” to audition, and so she turned it down. She felt that if Dave Chappelle and Kevin Hart didn’t have to audition for Netflix, then neither should she. So the Oscar-winning actress and comedienne had a little bit of a pride issue that cost her big time.
Here’s what is being reported elsewhere:
A source speaking on anonymity at Netflix said they are unbothered. “Mo’nique contacted Us to work on a stand up comedy special as her return to the circuit and we spoke about it”. The source then went on to explain that since she and her husband contacted them that they only had a limited budget for her project which much of the staff felt was minimal projected views. They asked Mo’nique if she would audition for the staff and if chosen she’d get a $3 million payment for the special and she refused. She asked if DaveChappelle or KevinHart had to audition and then went on a rant about how she is an Academy Award winner. They agreed she was talented and offered her a $500k payment. Netflix is confused at the amount of time and energy she has put into this negotiation and alleges that if she had gone about it the right way, “contract’s would have been signed”

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do. But the number of CPD detectives has been cut since then.  As Mayor Rahm Emanuel prepares to run for re-election, he'll swear in 100 new detectives later this month and promises 100 more by the end of the year. Rapper XXXTentacion (real name: Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), who was  shot to death  at the age of 20 Monday, wasn’t yet a household name. But he was well on his way.
