These Air Jordans Are Inspired by Street Art in Barcelona 'International Flight' 5s coming later this year.

A new addition to the Air Jordan 5 lineup will make its retail debut this summer.
The retro starts with a sail leather upper, accented by hits of orange and royal, including a first-of-its-kind graphic print along the quarter mesh panels. Black fills the midsole, which sits atop an icy blue translucent sole. PE style number '23' embroidery adorns the heels. While the story behind the colorway hasn't been revealed, it could be a nod to 90s era Jordan rivals like the New York Knicks or Cleveland Cavaliers.
Look for this Jordan 5 to release on Saturday, Sept. 8 for $190 at Jordan retailers. More on this colorway in the coming months.
UPDATE 6/14: New information has surfaced regarding this upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan 5. The official nickname being given to the pair is the "International Flight." It is inspired by MJ's worldwide tours during the offseason, specifically his time in Barcelona. In August 1990, Jordan played a game in Barcelona in front of the local fans in the "Fire Red" Jordan 5. The colors and patterns utilized across the upper pay homage to street art in the Spanish city.
UPDATE 6/22: While @zsneakerheadz has reported that this pair is set for a Sept. 8 release date, Jordan Brand has confirmed the "International Flight" Air Jordan 5 will be dropping on August 4.
