'University Gold' Air Jordan 12 Rumored to Release in July 2020

It appears that we're set for a run of "Flu Game" blocked Air Jordan 12s, with another pair being rumored to release next summer.
Info leaker Soleheatonfeet reports that a "University Gold" Jordan 12 is expected to join the lineup. While photos haven't surfaced, ZSneakerheadz dropped a mock-up suggesting a pair similar to Gary Payton's 'Away' Player Exclusives from his long season with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2003-04.
The "Game Royal" version of the Jordan 12 is being released next month. Expect the "University Gold" colorway to land sometime during July 2020.
UPDATE (12/14): According to zSneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, the upcoming "University Gold" Air Jordan 12 Retro is now rumored to release on July 8, 2020 for $190.

10 killed, 73 shot in bloodiest week of the year

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do. But the number of CPD detectives has been cut since then.  As Mayor Rahm Emanuel prepares to run for re-election, he'll swear in 100 new detectives later this month and promises 100 more by the end of the year. Rapper XXXTentacion (real name: Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), who was  shot to death  at the age of 20 Monday, wasn’t yet a household name. But he was well on his way.
