Nike's Sustainable Dunk Lows Get an Official Release Date Two women's-exclusive styles land next week.

Back in 2019, Nike revealed how it plans to fight climate change with the introduction of its “Move to Zero” initiative. Since then, the brand has been steadily incorporating sustainable materials into its sneaker releases. This trend will soon continue with an upcoming set of Dunks if these images are any indication.

Official Nike product images of two forthcoming Dunk Low “Move to Zero” styles have surfaced this week. Both pairs come in the model’s traditional two-toned color blocking with white leather serving as the base of the uppers and are separated by either the sail or pink hue for the overlay panels. The shoe’s standout detail is the neon yellow footbed featuring Nike’s “Move to Zero” logo as well as the speckled outsole that’s likely constructed out of recycled materials.

As of now, the official release date for these “Move to Zero” Dunk Lows have yet to be confirmed by the brand but grab a detailed look below.

UPDATE (10/28): Nike has confirmed on its website that the women’s-exclusive Dunk Low Next Nature styles are releasing on Nov. 3 at Nike.com for $105 each.

10 killed, 73 shot in bloodiest week of the year

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS)  - A  violent weekend  capped off Chicago's bloodiest week of the year. From April 30 through May 6, 10 people were killed and 73 others were wounded in gun violence across Chicago. This latest outbreak of violence underscores how gunmen are literally getting away with crimes up to and including murder. Overwhelmed police detectives have 155 currently active investigations of 2018 homicides, while "solving" or "clearing" 27 cases, barely 17 percent.  The clearance rate has dropped steadily in recent years, leaving thousands of murders in the last decade unsolved and thousands of killers still on the street. Chicago Police used to solve more than 60 percent of murders, back in the 1990s. New York City cops still do. But the number of CPD detectives has been cut since then.  As Mayor Rahm Emanuel prepares to run for re-election, he'll swear in 100 new detectives later this month and promises 100 more by the end of the year.
