Meanwhile, the lowest asking price for a pair is available in sizes 7 and 7.5, whose current bids are at $20,000. The sneakers were created by Louis Vuitton’s late menswear designer, Virgil Abloh, who already has numerous Nike projects under his belt through his Off-White label. Each pair dons a mix of Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram and Damier patterns and will come with an orange Louis Vuitton pilot case that will be included with each pair. The pilot case will only be available through the auction and will not come with the to-be-released retail versions.

100 percent of proceeds from the auctions will benefit Abloh’s “Post-Modern” Scholarship Fund in support of Black fashion students. The auction for the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 Low will be open at Sotheby’s until Tuesday, Feb. 8.
